Several years ago, Christina, a 28-year-old woman, was diagnosed with cancer, which needed to be treated with chemotherapy. She was told that she would be unable to conceive after the chemotherapy treatment. So, using sperm from her partner Darren, she was given IVF treatment, and the embryos were then frozen, until Christina was well enough to have the child.

However, shortly after her treatment was completed, Darren left Christina for another woman. Christina is now applying to the courts for the right to have the child. However, Darren says he doesn't want to have a child with Christina anymore. He wants the embryos to be destroyed so that he has nothing to do with Christina in any way.

QUESTIONS:

it's the beginning of another new week and this week mid term for BE & EF will start..

well, it's gonna b okay so pls do not freak out!!!

ENGLISH FOUNDATION COMPILATION (NOTES) is available in Block C photocopy shop so please GET A COPY there... if i'm not mistaken it's about RM7 but the exact price i'm not sure..but i think it's gonna b less than RM10... all the notes from every lecturers r compiled there..so don't miss it!!

For BE students, u can continue to get ur notes from eAdvantage so do not worry :)

p/s: end of the month is approaching, any new outings? sing k or picnic or steamboat or watever?? pls give some suggestions :)

it's time for mid term again!

i suppose everyone's gonna b busy with mid term of all subjects.

however, i hope that everyone will strive their best n' get the best result that u can for this EF & BE mid term which will start next Monday..

don't worry cos' this mid term is not gonna b so hard...

juz think positively n' everything's gonna b okay!!

so everyone kambate yo!!!

for BE, it is going to b divided into 3 parts: reading, grammar & writing.

u'll have a reading text n' of course u need to answer the questions based on the text. on grammar, pls focus on the different parts of speech which we have covered during the first 3 weeks of the semester..for writing, no long essays.. pls refer to the paragraph structures notes that i've posted in aAdvantage.

for EF, the same thing, 3 parts: reading, grammar & writing.

so reading text, u need to answer the questions based on the text but of cos' it requires a little of thinking skills.. so pls provide logical explanation for each question. so grammar involves every aspects that we've covered..so things like S-V-Agreement, tenses, spellings and etc. for writing, so u'll choose one of the questions and write the essay in abt 400 words. pls write the essay according to the 5 paragraphs format as it is the easiest format n' all the points will b elaborated more clearly using this format. so, always remember ur intro (definition, general background & stand of position), content (ur 3 main points + explanations + examples) and conclusion (summary of everything + recommendation if u want to).

so no direct tips for everyone...i'm a bad teacher....LOL :P

but i hope everyone will get A for this mid term...

if u have anything u wanna ask, pls do it b4 the exam and don't depend on the internet bcos i won't be in kl for the weekend...

so, c me in the office on Monday :)

i'm back again..seems like its my regular hour to post something every monday morning..

next week will be the mid term for EF and BE...

so i hope everyone is fully prepared..

actually it's not very very hard...

hard a bit is also challenging ma...

anyway, i'll be posting the discussion abt phrases & clauses in few days time...

n' i also will do a bit of discussion like what we used to do..

this time round, we have essay n' also subjective questions..

well, all of these have no exact answer n' they depend on ur personal thoughts..

so i hope i can post the discussion by tomoro so everyone can chip in some ideas...

by the way, this friday i'll be back to JB...

mostly i won't be able to online n check this discussion board since my internet connection back home is real slow..

so...so...so...if u do have emergency case abt the exam, u can either call me on my phone (but not middle of the nite!) or see me in the office on MONDAY 2pm to 4pm...

in abt 2 weeks times u'll pass up the term paper n' the week that follows will be the presentation..after that we'll have the script-writing & sketch thingy...

well, for the script + sketch...u can start to think of wat to write in the dialogue n' how to act...i won't be having rehearsal bcos it's gonna b a very easy thingy...

make everything short n' sweet :)

and yup, life has been so busy...

everyone is also busy with studies and work..

this week's lecture will b a bit 'dry' because we'll b doin phrases & clauses...

so b prepared and pls don't b too 'dry' in my class or i'll splash water on u...LOL juz joking..

yuuhooo..i'm back in action :0

dear all..

sorry for being missing in action for the past week..

a lot of hardwork...a lot of 'drama'...a lot of words...a lot of tears...and very very sick... :(

now, i'm still on the verge of recovering from everything...so wish me luck..

however, thanks to jiawen, shirley, jackie & dawn because i had a very wonderful movie outing :)

altho' it was a small gathering, but i had fun and a bit of crazy cam-whoring moment.. :D

well, for those who can't make it for the movie outing, i hope that at least by the end of this semester, we can have a larger scale outing...

for the next outing, we plan to 'cheong k' (sing karaoke)...if you are interested, we can plan that but probably not within these few weeks as i understand that everyone is gonna b busy with tests, assignments and presentations...

but it's okay..there's always time for having fun :)

how abt goin sunway lagoon? i always love water and sun...LOL :)

jackie is rite, everyone is getting quieter these days? where have all my noisy students disappear again and again?? you guys really need a lot of 'pushing' to do things huh??? :P

June's here...

hey everyone...

time passed so fast and now it's already June..

so practically we've come together as a family for almost a month..

i can't imagine how time flies...

in 2 months' time, finals will come and everyone will be so busy...

then holidays...wonder if we will still keep in touch like now?

i'm getting sentimental these few days..

i was sick and i suppose sick pple do hallucinate sometimes...(due to those antibiotics and medicines..LOL :P)

i thought about my friends in high school and college..

i missed those fun times I had with them :)

now everyone seems to be so busy in their lives..hardly have time to meet..kinda pathetic...

so students, enjoy your student's life while you can..

because when you enter working life...things will b totally different..
